The Greatest Show on Earth

Paige experienced her first circus this weekend! Clowns, elephants, tigers, zebras, horses, dogs, acrobatics…it had everything. Even Daddy got called on stage for the first act to play musical chairs with the clowns. Poor Daddy didn’t expect his first chair to collapse underneath him.

Paige had a great time!

Gone to the Dogs

This week has been an interesting one. Paige's grandparents were out of town so we've been watching their dogs, Molly and Beau. Both are very sweet dogs, even though Beau is a bit gender confused and has a crush on Norman.

Paige wasn't so sure of them on Monday, since Beau has quite a bit more energy than Norman and tends to push her to the ground and love on her. So, much of the day was spent carrying her from place to place, anything so her feet didn't touch the ground. Luckily she managed to move all of her toys to the couch, so playtime was not interrupted.

Is there a market for toddler protein drinks?

In true Funkhouser fashion, Paige has learned the advantages of eating enough protein every day. Gotta grow up strong and healthy, right?
I'm sure it doesn't hurt that this protein shake was flavored with strawberries!

Hello Kitty

Paige was absolutely beside herself when Orko decided to curl up on her lap!

Mommy's birthday

Saturday was Mommy's birthday! We had a nice family day of lunch and shopping. Then I was dropped off for a slumber party at Grandma and Grandpa's, and mommy and daddy went to the M's game against the Yankees.

The Mariners lost. Oh well. Great seats and a good time anyway!

The next day we went out to breakfast and more running around town. Finished it off with ice cream at the B-town Scoop. Yum!

Mommy says calories don't count on your birthday!

Tiny Dancer

Paige decided to take advantage of the bare floors (freshly washed) to practice her auditions for the toddler version of "So You Think You Can Dance".

We could have a pro here!

Richie Rich

Paige has recently discovered the joys of money...or rather, the joys of putting money into your piggy bank that plays a snipet from "twinkle twinkle little star".
She eagerly scoops up your change, deposits it, and then says "more" "more" "more" "more"...well, you get the picture.
Typically when I leave for the gym she cries. Well, Monday I gave her $.75 and kissed her goodbye. No tears as she raced toward her piggy bank. Not even sure she noticed I was gone.

They grow up so fast, don't they? :o)
